Ibn Sina’s Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science has organized a virtual training course entitled “How to make an educational video” with the participation of a number of lecturers and professionals in e-education from inside and outside the college. The aim of the course was to identify the effectiveness of producing educational videos and publishing them on YouTube channels to show the extent of their impact on the development of cognitive, skilled, performance and emotional aspects of the education system, allowing learners to benefit from technological innovations in the development of educational and scientific skills and cognitive abilities to improve the positive trends of learners in e-learning.
The course, which was presented by Dr. Shirin Rasool and Assist. lecturer Hasnaa Faisal, included discussing ways to raise the educational process and solve the problems that exist in its systems, which are based mainly on digital technology, making many digital applications an essential component in the design and development of educational materials, which are now available in the classroom if they are better designed and produced, which combine images, backgrounds of color and written a commentary, with the aim for developing learning capabilities and delivering a study material to serve certain educational purposes with some visual features that suit technological skills, then integrating them into media professionally and presenting them for different age groups of learners to create an atmosphere of interaction and pleasure suitable for all subject materials, especially for university.
