The Quality Assurance & University Performance Division, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science held a lecture entitled “Documenting work procedures at government institutions” in the presence of a number of researchers and those concerned with government job performance. The aim of the lecture was to identify procedures that are predetermined ways of doing business within plans designed for employees, in order to carry out the tasks and duties necessary to attain the goals set before, in order to provide a service or achieve a specific goal.
The lecture, which was presented by the director of the Human Resources Unit at the Continuing Education Center, Assist. Prof. Dr. Awas Mahmoud Mohammed, clarified at the procedures of work done at government institutions should be comprehensive and indeed linked to the desired objectives and based on specific criteria, so as to facilitate linking responsibility to individuals who practice it, pointing out that these procedures should be linked to regulatory steps characterized by stability, flexibility and simplicity instead of complexities and boring routine, pointing out the need to be clear and understandable so as to prevent any conflict or task repetition since this would plays an important role in everyday work and helps to find clear and specific ways for all workers in the administrative affairs.
