Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has visited Al-Kindy College of Medicine to inspect the rehabilitation process taking place at the college as well as to discuss many topics of interest that serve its reality in order to promote the scientific and service matters.
Dr. Munir al-Saadi stressed during his speech the importance of resolving the issue of the shortage of medical staff there by coordination with all relevant authorities to transfer professors from the ministry of health to the ministry of higher education and scientific research, in addition to discussing the issue of extending the period of time for retirement age of physicians and working together to overcome any problems or obstacles in this regard. For his part, the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jalal Hussein, stressed the prospects of achieving all strategic goals that will improve their academic status. On the sidelines of the visit, the rector inaugurated a smart hall for the evaluative examinations equipped with the latest supplies.
