The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad has organized a scientific workshop for the students of the undergraduate studies entitled “Fatigue and hospitalization after oxygen training” delivered by the faculty member from the Team Games Branch, Assist. Prof. Dr. Saja Shuker Yas. The workshop aimed to demonstrate the concept of oxygen training, which means every exercise, whether physical, skilled or planned, performs less than 80%, and from the maximum intensity and time of exercises that are more than (5) minutes, is an oxygen training, which means that energy is produced by the presence of oxygen in muscle cells.

The workshop dealt with the causes of fatigue during and after training, including fatigue due to the lack of Glucose level in the blood, as well as the lack of Glycogen in the muscles and liver, as well as the practice of training in hot atmosphere, especially in the atmosphere where it rises more than 30 degrees, which leads to sweating, which causes the loss of water, mineral salts, sodium, potassium and others, some diseases such as flu and others that affect the ability of the nervous and muscular system to carry out their duties efficiently, which causes the player to feel tired as a result of his illness, decrease The blood content in the body that leads to a decrease in the concentration of hemoglobin in the blood that reduces oxygen capacity. She added that fatigue after training occurs as a result of energy consumption and increased body temperatures, as well as increased activity of disposals of excess heat leading to an imbalance in the means of regulating the body temperature leading to fatigue, indicating the most important mechanisms of hospitalization after oxygen training, including the regeneration of Glycogen, the renewal of Myoglobin Oxygen, and the renewal of blood components.
