The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage has organized a seminar entitled “Raising young people in Islamic heritage and its reflections on contemporary reality” delivered by the center’s director, Dr. Alaa Nafi Jassim. She at first talked about the interest of Islam in young people, because they are the strength and movement in life, and they are the ones who carried the sacrifice and the hardships of spreading the da’wa, and the Qur’an and Sunnah were taken care of by sponsoring and raising young people comprehensively. She added that Al-Ghamdi defines education as the development of different aspects of the human personality through education, training, education, politeness and practice, for the purpose of preparing a good man for the architecture of the earth and achieving the meaning of succession.
The lecturer also explained that the goal of education in Islam is to develop the intellectual aspect of man, and to develop the social, psychological, moral, and physical aspect of it, especially by developing human intelligence, developing his ability to meditate, looking and thinking in the human eyes in nature and in the universe, and considering the human soul itself, and developing the ability to visualize and imagine the scenes created by the Holy Quran, artistic images of the unseen and resurrection, as well as strengthening memory and remembering the preservation of Qur’an itself, absorbing its meanings, and managing it.
