The Medical City hosted the opening of a scientific conference on nerve & muscle ultrasound imaging and overlaps of peripheral pain under the auspices of the college of medicine at the University of Baghdad and the Iraqi Medical Education Council and the Arab Council for Health Specialties. The conference included during its proceedings delivering a number of lectures given by Dr. Abdul Nasser Hussein al-Abedi from the Physiology Branch and the rapporteur of the Arab Council’s the Peripheral Pains Fellowship, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Allam from the Tanta University in Egypt and a member of the Gulf and Middle East Pain Association, and Dr. Mortaza Jabbara, President of the Arab Board of Oncology Fellowship. The workshop aimed to train physicians from different disciplines to use nerve and muscle ultrasound imaging to treat various cases of such diseases using modern sonar devices with the support of the office of Samsung Agent.
