The college of science at the University of Baghdad has hosted recently a workshop dedicated for website officials at all university’s formations, after announcing the results of the latest website evaluation report, so as to improve the facades of the websites of the university’s faculties, postgraduate institutes and research centers. The workshop was presided over by the director of the Website Division, the Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Jaafar Ali who addressed many topics related to the administration of sites and ways to update and develop them that may in turn raise the university position in local and international rankings.
The workshop also witnessed shedding light on the weaknesses and strengths of each website and the importance of electronic media at the present time in addition to the need to pay attention to the interfaces, information and pages specified to provide data of scientific departments including online learning services, undergraduate and postgraduate studies, figures & pics and other technical matters in line with the most data provided at global education websites. Then Dr. Mohammed Jaafar talked about the need for updating the management system of scientific activities regularly to promote the mechanism of web work.
