The Department of Chemistry at the College of Science for Women held a festival for the student extracurricular productions and activities with the aim to develop their talents, skills, strengthen their self-confidence and deepen understanding of practical culture via the joint collective efforts of female students in order to achieve the objectives of scientific development.
The head of the department of chemistry also delivered a speech in which she stressed the importance of establishing such student activities as it works to build the creative abilities of female students and embrace student talent that can reduce the scientific atmosphere that concerns the student’s psychology. The festival included the presentation of a number of scientific activities and traders for students of the department of chemistry as well as photographs, drawings and cultural information because these arts work to raise the level of creativity in the numbers of scientific study and the integration of these artistic activities with the field of education works to develop the skills of female students. The college continues to establish these activities out of the keenness of the ministry and the university to develop the morale of the students and allow them to express their creative energies in line with its vision.
