The college of physical education and sports sciences for women held a scientific symposium for the fourth-grade students entitled “How to write graduation research” that was jointly delivered by the assistant dean for scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Bushra Kazim Abdul Rida and a number of professors. The importance of the research project was explained for students from the extent to which the students benefit from the findings of the subject matter they study and how to write academic research in any discipline.

The lecturers stressed the need to choose new titles of practical researches in order to serve their community and the labor market while focusing on the problem of research, tools and the procedures that would be adopted, the theoretical and analytical aspects of research by reviewing and interpretation of data results. The most important conclusions and recommendations were also reviewed in addition to how to conduct questionnaires of a given research. The participants then discussed the selection of descriptive research that should be modern and authentic, especially that are related to sports disciplines such as training, learning, rehabilitation, development and service of civil society, taking into account the exceptional circumstances that our country is going through.
