The department of biology, in collaboration with the continuing education unit and the rehabilitation and employment unit at the college of science has organized a lecture entitled “Life post-graduation” in the presence of a number of students of undergraduate studies and the educational guidance committees.

The aim of the lecture was to highlight the ideas of young people about the possibility of choosing the right choice for their lives after graduation that can be summarized in completing their higher studies or working in a particular sector, and how the graduates can make good use of the opportunity and invest in obtaining useful productive work, which benefits them and their families and even the community as a whole, and instilling the concepts of not to stop learning, training and achievement, since human beings can always acquire knowledge at the psychological and material levels. The lecture was presented by the Assist. Lecturer Osama Abdul Hamid Majid who tried to find out the most important things that the students can and should do pre-graduation in order to achieve the greatest amount of goals and to overcome the obstacles that are supposed to exist in the way of achieving goals, as well as the importance of knowing how to write a good CV that qualify them to find a job in the labor market and take some advice that benefits them for taking correct decisions after graduation, even that benefit them applying for postgraduate studies in Iraq or abroad.
