The high committee for the graduation ceremony, chaired by the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi held lately an extensive meeting to address the mechanisms adopted for the graduation ceremony of the 64th session of students (2020-2021) under the slogan (Our learning is our goal). The high committee consisted of 10 members who represented the main departments at the university with the aim to call faculties to form their own sub-committees in this regard in order to oversee their own preparations and then to coordinate with the graduates of the morning and evening studies to celebrate this event in the presence of His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazim Abdul Sahib.
The members also discussed the stages of this central celebration step by step which will be held in the courtyards of the college of physical education and sports sciences in Jadriyah, including a playing music by the military choir followed by the march of the top students in specific and all graduate students in general. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi confirmed during his speech that the graduation ceremony will be attended by several members of the House of Representatives, a number of ministers, ambassadors and rectors, in addition to dedicating the shields of the University of Baghdad and a collection of awards to the most distinguished graduates in a splendid ceremony that lasts for several hours on Saturday, December 25, 2021.
