A visit to the Home of Victims of Human Trafficking

Prof. Dr. Abeer al-Khalidi, head of the department of international community research and head of the polling unit at the center for women’s studies has visited recently the Home of Victims of Human Trafficking in Baghdad to inspect the reality of life in this institution and to fulfill one requirement of her research entitled (The status of the marginalized women in the midst of the current situation and the most prominent obstacles to sustainable development: a survey study). During this visit, Dr. Abeer al-Khalidi met the director of the house, Mrs. Wasan Hussein Khudhair and a number of residents there so as to keep abreast with the services provided by a specialized staff for those victims and how to save them from any assaults that have been confronting before, as well as to assist and encourage them to adapt to people again.
