The college of pharmacy at the University of Baghdad has organized recently an electronic scientific lecture entitled “Needleless Injection” delivered by the Assist. Lecturer Noor Mohammed Dawood Yahya from the Pharmaceutical Branch via Zoom platform. The main objective of this event is to introduce the needle free injection technology (NFIT) that includes a wide range of drug delivery systems that drive drugs through the skin without using any needles common in pharma industry and mass immunization, bypassing the chances of needle stick injuries and avoiding other complications due to multiple use of single needle technique. At the end of the workshop, the lecturer reviewed the main steps that should be adopted for the proper use of injection devices and how to avoid misuse.
