Dr. Sarhad al-Najar, a professor at the college of veterinary medicine at the University of Baghdad has recently participated in the alumni conference of the center for integration of research, teaching and learning (CIRTL). The aim of the conference is to prepare lecturers in various scientific disciplines in line with the most advanced techniques through the use of for modern teaching methods as well as to increase their teaching experiences based on group work and cooperation with each other so as to comprehend and solve student problems.
Dr. Sarhad al-Najar’s participation in the conference comes for being one of the graduates of this network, and he is the representative of the University of Baghdad in this scientific forum, where he addressed the challenges faced by education in Iraq under the circumstances of the wide-spread pandemic, and how our university deals with these challenges to facilitate the educational process. It is noteworthy that (CIRTL) is a network consisting of (38) universities in North America founded under the auspices of the National Science Foundation.
