The Ibn Sina unit for e-learning, in cooperation with the continuing education unit at the college of veterinary medicine have organized an innovative seminar entitled “E-learning and virtual academic activities” via Google Meet service with the aim to provide electronic digital educational resources related to the current curriculum adopted at the college.
The lecturers identified the best applications for self-learning and distance education suitable for use in the field of higher education, especially those digital apps that can be updated and evaluated periodically and which facilitate the process of teaching. The seminar was attended by the assistant dean for administrative affairs, a number of heads of departments and faculty members who proposed a set of recommendations towards developing the level of study materials sent to students online and urge to activation of interactive lectures, as well as holding scientific and administrative meetings on this regard and to administrate online questionnaires to save effort and time.
