The University of Baghdad won the 1st place locally and the 571th place globally in the latest edition of the Round University Ranking (RUR) of leading international universities in 2021 issued by RUR Rankings Agency founded in 2013 and based in Moscow, Russia. Fifty Iraqi universities and more than 867 international universities have participated in this ranking that evaluates the most world’s leading higher education institutions through 20 indicators compiled in 4 key areas of university activities: teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability and where all raw data is provided by Thomson Reuters International Company, that cover the period from 2010 to the present.
