This theoretical and practical course was presented by the faculty member of the college of physical education and sports sciences Dr. Wissam Najib with the aim to introduce coaches and those interested in football to criteria for designing SSG games, their effects on developing skills through intense matches where the number of players and the playing space are reduced in order to increase footballer participation, for example 3 v 3 or 5 v 5. The key point is that each player gets more touches of the ball. It is noteworthy that this course is the first of its kind at the level of student activities units of the University of Baghdad that hosts Asian lecturers specialized in football.
