Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has conducted an evening inspection tour among the courtyards of the colleges of engineering and science, accompanied by the assistant rector for administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wahid Nasser. The rector inspected the works carried out by the horticulture division for organizing gardens, coordinating shrubs, seasonal flowers and water sprinklers, as well as pruning plants and removing harmful herbs.
Then he visited the student clubs at the colleges of engineering and science, addressing the importance of adhering to hygiene and sanitary conditions in conjunction with the regular part-time strategy and exams given in classrooms adopted this year during the current COVID-19 pandemic and stressed the importance of social distancing and commitment to preventive measures in order to maintain the safety of our staff and students. Also Dr. Munir al-Saadi accompanied by the director of follow-up department, Dr. Mohsen al-Shammari and the director of diwan, Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad have followed-up the infrastructure of some university formations and made a number of remarks for the rehabilitation and development of spatial signals that indicate some colleges, departments in addition to other administrative and scientific divisions.
