The presidency of the University of Baghdad represented by its rector, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi offers the highest and warmest congratulations to the heroes of our armed and security forces in all its ranks and to our dear Iraqi people on the occasion of the third anniversary of the great victory over the terrorist gangs of ISIS and the liberation of Iraqi territory.
The university’s professors, staff and students today recall with pride the heroism and sacrifices of our brave sons, soldiers, anti-terrorism forces and the popular mobilization in all their formations who have written the greatest images of dedication and heroism in their battles in response to the call of jihad. We pray for mercy and immortality for our righteous martyrs, asking God to preserve Iraq’s land and people.
