The College of physical education and sports sciences for women at the University of Baghdad was selected as one of the partners of success in the Second International Scientific Conference organized by the Iraqi Scientific Sports Association for the Testing and Measurement Branch in coordination with the college of physical education at Al-Mustansiriyah University, the college of basic education and the department of physical education at the ministry of youth and sports. This conference was held under the slogan “The lack of sports for talented people between field experience and scientific determinants” under the auspices of the ministers of higher education & youth via Zoom platform and which lasted for three days with the participation of sports professionals from all Iraqi universities.
The sessions dealt with matters related to the physiology of sports training, motor development, the absence of sports psychology, sports biomechanics as well as the absence of talented players with disabilities. At the conclusion of this event, the chairman of the Iraqi Scientific Sports Association, Prof. Dr. Salman Akab Al-Janabi dedicated the shield of excellence to the dean of the college Dr. Bushra Al-Hamashi for her participation and active role in this event wishing her all success in the service of the educational process in our beloved country.
