The rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hameed al-Saadi and his associates for scientific and administrative affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdul Kareem Al-Samarrai, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Waheed and members of the university council held a press conference to announce the success of E-learning for the academic year 2019-2020 at 98 percent.
During his speech in this event, Dr. Al Saadi praised this promising achievement under the current exceptional circumstances of Corona pandemic that witnessed the adoption of E-learning digital platforms to deliver lectures to student as well as the provision of the necessary electronic technology. He also appreciated the efforts and instructions of the ministerial team from the beginning of the exams on July 25 until August 18, pointing out that 56,196 students of graduate studies passed the electronic examinations, while 4101 postgraduate students passed exams this year.
