The council of the University of Baghdad held its 12th session under the chairmanship of its rector, Prof. Dr. Munir Hameed Al Saadi in the presence of his associates for scientific and administrative affairs and all members. The council discussed the latest developments of scientific disciplines as well as the adoption of the Iraqi dental journal issued by the Association of Dentists in Iraq and approved by the ministry of higher education for the scientific promotion purposes.
The council also discussed the problems concerning the completion of scientific research within the proposed timelines for health or administrative reasons. The members stressed the importance of adopting the objective standards when publishing research and discussed the return of some postgraduates to study seats after meeting all academic requirements. It is worth mentioning that the council members approved the new name of the information technology center (IT), as well as the extension of the service of one of the teaching staff at the college of agricultural engineering science after ensuring his health safety.
