Dr. Sarmad Fouad Jaber al-Ansari, a professor from the department of chemical engineering at the college of engineering gained recently the position of a visiting professor at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Australia, as an effort to open up to the outside world and to promote our university’s policy of supporting international research cooperation and keeping pace with scientific and technical development in the world.
This appointment allows the Iraqi academics to benefit from foreign expertise in academic and research fields as well as access to international libraries and laboratories of ECU in order to work jointly with their counterparts.
This cooperation resulted in the publication of four solid research papers, two of them were listed in Scopus and Clarivate databases while the third one was accepted for publication and delivered at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference 2019 and the fourth one was accepted by the 5th Iraq Oil and Gas Conference 2019 organized annually by the Oil Research and Development Center at the ministry of oil.
