Dean of the college of media at the University of Baghdad hosted Mr. Michael Erlinck, one of the founders of the International Media Support Organization (IMS) and a number of Arab and foreign journalists in the presence of Associate Deans for scientific and administrative affairs.
Associate dean for scientific affairs, Prof.Dr. Erada Zidan al-Jabouri stated that the aim of this visit is to confirm the organization’s cooperation with the college as well as supporting the college’s upcoming conference in October with reference to the inclusion of minority issues in study curricula, especially in the field of the investigative journalism. It is noteworthy that IMS Organization seeks to create safer media environments with sound laws for journalists in countries where press freedom and other human rights are in dire straits.
