Dr. Amer Hashim and Dr. Muna Hussein Obeid from the center for strategic and international studies at the University of Baghdad have participated recently in the proceedings of an international conference held in Cairo on the occasion of the centennial anniversary of the revolution of 1919 organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture (Supreme Council for Culture).
Dr. Amer Hashim presented a research paper entitled (The impact of the revolution of 1919 on that of 1920) in relevance to Iraq and Egypt, while Dr. Muna Hussein presented a paper on (The revolution of 1919 in Egypt and its reflections on the Sudanese National Movement 1919 _ 1924). These two Iraqi professors obtained certificates of appreciation for their efforts in enriching the conference with valuable scientific information.
