The director of the center for women’s studies at the University of Baghdad, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sihaam al-Kaabi has recently participated in the representation of the Arab side at the first International Conference on Genocide held in the Kurdistan region and established by the Besikci center for humanities studies (BCHS) at the University of Duhok in cooperation with the University of Erbil.
Dr. Sihaam al-Kaabi presented a research paper that examined the psychological interpretation of the crimes of genocide, especially those affecting women and the ethnic cleansing committed by the forces of darkness (ISIS). The proceedings of this conference included many researches presented from Syria, Turkey, Britain, Germany and Costa Rica.
