The college of media at the University of Baghdad won the first place in the National Quality Ranking for media colleges in Iraq for the academic year (2017 – 2018).
Dean of the college of media, Dr. Hashim Hassan al-Tamimi stated that “standing at the forefront of colleges of media is a double responsibility in moving forward to compete with Arab and international colleges which is something we aspire to in future and that the college is keen to provide students with the skills to help them succeed in their scientific life”. For his part, the head of the department of public relations Prof. Dr. Mohammed al-Ameri stated that this academic achievement at the national level came as the outcome of the efforts of members and professors at the college and their keenness to submit sober research at the regional and international events.
