Under the supervision of the institute of genetic engineering and biotechnology for postgraduate studies at the University of Baghdad, several medical laboratories are opened now for training students as a prerequisite for passing the medical laboratory licence exam accredited by the ministry of health.
Dean of the institute, Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Muwait al-Faisal and chairman of the specialist practitioners’ follow-up committee stated that the cost of training for a year is to be paid in two batches and that such specialized training would include the use of the most advanced equipment for molecular medical tests designed by discreet companies.
