Prof. Dr. Ashwak Nasir Jassim from the college of languages participated in an international workshop organized and sponsored by the civil society organizations in Erbil under the slogan “Comprehensive citizenship through education” by submitting a research paper on the experience of the college of languages at the University in Baghdad in teaching the Syriac language and in some schools in Baghdad and Kurdistan region.
Dr. Ashwak confirmed during her speech the contribution of the college in the graduation of Iraqi specialists who can teach this uncommon language in several secondary schools in the context of the application of the cultural and linguistic rights of the minorities guaranteed by the constitution.
