The computer Center at the University of Baghdad held a video conference within the scientific research cooperation mechanism between a research team composed of professors, researchers and consultants from the University of Baghdad and the ministry of health with their counterparts from the University of Liverpool.
This academic meeting aimed to establish a program for early detection of lung cancer in Iraq as well as to develop a model for prediction of the incidence of such diseases in Iraq after the middle age. The participants discussed ways of scientific cooperation with several Iraqi medical centers to exchange experiences for finding solutions for this serious disease.
