Assistant Professor Dr. Asma Jassim Mohammed from the college of administration and economics participated in the second international scientific conference for humanities held at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) in Turkey through submitting a research paper that addressed the financing role of the Islamic banks under the sustainable development goals via a presentation of selected experiences with reference to Iraq.

The conference witnessed a wide participation of researchers and specialists from around the world where the researchers focused on matters related to poverty, the sustainable development agenda in Iraq, the economic viability of enterprises, women’s economic empowerment, ways to achieve economic development as well as the impact of environmental factors on non-oil exports, the role of e-governance in enhancing the quality of the service given by private banks, in addition to many other topics.
