Dr. Azhar Essam Abdel Wahab, a professor from the department of Italian language at the college of languages participated in a conference on modern methods of learning Italian language organized by the Italian publishing house (Pixel) recently by presenting a paper entitled “Difficulties faced by Iraqi students in learning the Italian language and ways to address them”. The researcher tried to suggest some solutions and visions through the use of new methods for teaching Iraqi students such as intensive video-mediated lectures via internet in cooperation with a number of Italian universities as well as using methodological books adopted in Italy for foreign learners.
