The computer center at University of Baghdad organized a seminar entitled “Internet of Things: principles and applications in future networks” delivered by Dr. Moayad Khalil Murtada aimed to show the importance of IoT in modern scientific trends which are one of the most important future technologies that are expected to bring about a major change in life through providing a permanent communication between the equipment and the technologies we use daily that have replaced human beings. It is noteworthy that IoT is a modern technical term that was first used in 1999 and that refers to the newly developed and dramatically growing new generation of internet which increases the capacity of physical objects such as various tools and devices that have a dedicated IP address as other traditional devices used in our daily lives such as laptops, smartphones and tablets through the internet protocol.
