The college of arts at University of Baghdad participated in a workshop held in Erbil entitled “Peace studies curriculum related to the peace building project in the Iraqi higher education system” in the presence of a number of professors and researchers from various Iraqi universities. The workshop aimed at reviewing the results of last October workshop that established the basis for the opening of a high professional diploma study at the college for this specialization, as well as the approval of selected modules and courses for different academic and cultural fields so as to provide our students with the competent knowledge and skills that aspire them to work on the national and the international levels for the sake of promoting peace and to resolve conflicts exist in the Iraqi realm.
