The dean of the college of science at University of Baghdad inaugurated the 4th annual astronomical exhibition sponsored by the meteorological committee at the department of astronomy and space. The exhibition included a review of the main research activities of the department with a presentation of images of celestial bodies captured by telescopes and taken by professors and students of graduate and postgraduate studies as well as the astronomical events such as follow-up of sunspots, solar and lunar eclipse, images of planets, stars, comets, constellations, galaxies and nebulae documented by the use of advanced certain equipment and high-quality cameras. At the conclusion of this event, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the members of the department.
