A number of students from the college of physical education and sports sciences at University of Baghdad reached at a major athletic achievement by obtaining a number of colorful medals at the Iraqi Athletics Championship currently held in Baghdad. The fourth stage student Hussein Falah won the gold medal for high jumping while the second stage student Hala Ahmed won the bronze medal in Heptathlon which is considered as one of the most distinguished races and finally the third stage student Jina Mohammed Jabbar gained the silver medal. Dean of the college Prof. Dr. Uday Tariq expressed his delight for this achievement at the local level, promising to take care of these talents and to develop their physical abilities in order to achieve such excellence at the Asian level.
