University of Baghdad participated in the annual honoring of top students at all Iraqi universities in the presence of His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Dr. Qusai Suhail, Secretary of the Abbasid holy shrine Ahmed Al-Safi, a number of university rectors and deans, Associate Rector for scientific affairs Assist. Prof. Dr. Osama Fadel Abdul Latif as well as a number of members of student affairs’ department at the presidency of University of Baghdad. During his speech, His Excellency the minister stressed that the religious institution has a patriarchal role in all fields, appreciating the Abbasid holy shrine’s educational initiative and praising the scientific standards enjoyed by the teaching staff at the sacred threshold universities. It is noteworthy that 24 colleges from various medical, science and humanities disciplines have participated in this great festival to encourage and support graduate students morally through their academic study towards excellence.
