The National Pioneer Cancer Research Center at University of Baghdad initiated the E-Health Card project for cancer patients in coordination with the Educational Oncology Hospital affiliated to the Medical City Department at the ministry of health. Director of the center, Prof. Dr. Nada Al-Alwan suggested the initiation of data entry about patients who were diagnosed at the Reference Training Center for early detection of tumors to be then treated in oncology clinics at the Educational Oncology Hospital. This is considered as the first step in the implementation of this important health program at all relevant hospitals in all governorates.
