Department of quality assurance and academic accreditation at University of Baghdad held its 20th session presided over by the University Rector Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein Abdul Rasool. The university council addressed several topics on the agenda and after extensive discussions the participants agreed on working on to keep the strategic position reached by the university researchers along with several recommendations, including the preparation for the first session of the internal audit according to international standards and to urge the configurations to take advantage of the data on performance evaluation for the academic year (2017-2018) to prepare reports about them, discussing e-government applications to link the university formations within one effective network and the need for field visit reports for some configurations to keep abreast with the reality of educational labs. It is worth mentioned that the council was attended by Associate Rector for scientific affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Osama Fadel Abdul Latif, dean of the college of dentistry, Hussein Faisal Hussein, dean of the college of science for women Prof. Dr. Ahlam Mohamed Farah, dean of the college of administration and economics Prof. Dr. Manaf Yusuf Hamoud, director of quality assurance and university performance, Prof. Dr. Yousra Mohammed Abdulallah, director of the continuing education center, Assistant Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashor, secretary of the university council, Dr. Souad Abdul Mousa and the director of quality assurance teacher Omar Faiez Hussein.
