In the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, the University of Baghdad organized a central and festive ceremony to mark the graduation of its sixty-eighth class, held under the slogan “Excellence and Creativity.” The event took place at the sports fields of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, with wide official and academic attendance, as well as large crowds of the graduates’ families.
The ceremony witnessed the commencement of the academic journey of the graduates, who adorned the venue with their robes and the banners of their colleges, in moments where pride blended with the fruits of years of diligence and perseverance. Official speeches were delivered highlighting the pioneering role of the University of Baghdad as the “mother university,” which has provided the nation with scientific and professional talents that have played a prominent role in building state institutions and society.
The event concluded with the Minister of Higher Education honoring the top students from both morning and evening studies, in a celebratory atmosphere that brought joy to the graduates and their families. The occasion embodied the deep sense of belonging to this venerable academic institution, which remains a steadfast beacon of science and knowledge in Iraq.
