The College of Excellence at the University of Baghdad welcomed its newly admitted students for the 2025–2026 academic year in a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflected the college’s readiness for a distinguished academic journey. The event was held in the presence of Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad.

In his address during the reception, the University President congratulated the new students on joining this esteemed academic institution. He emphasized the importance of upholding university values and striving for academic excellence and innovation, reaffirming the university’s ongoing support for its colleges to serve as nurturing environments for creativity and pillars of academic distinction.

For his part, Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, Dean of the College of Excellence, welcomed the new students, describing their enrollment as a promising beginning to their academic journey. He noted that the college is committed to preparing qualified professionals equipped with both cognitive and practical skills aligned with the evolving demands of the labor market.

The reception program included a guided tour of the college’s departments, laboratories, and facilities, offering students a firsthand look at the academic and administrative resources prepared to ensure a successful and productive academic year.
