As the university of Baghdad longs for upgrading studies to keep pace with international universities, steps are being taken that can develop education in Iraq. The university instructed the department of planning and follow-up to establish new TOEFL teaching units .such units are to be in access with the president academic assistant. They are to select curricula and provide requirements for organizing TOEFl courses and other core courses in English language and other ESP and translation courses. The website correspondent visited the department of Planning and Follow-up to view important details in this respect receiving a letter of ministerial consent about the new units . our correspondent states that the university is ahead in upgrading administrative units .Still, there are other units to be established to achieve progress in scientific studies.
