Abstract

In this work, new polymers of lipid complexes were introduced as antioxidants for lubricating oils using intensive polymerization. In the presence of sulfuric acid, acidic acid of the process at 65 °C, the compounds were obtained using infrared spectra, ultraviolet radiation, mass spectrometry and element analysis. The thermal stability of the prepared compounds the thermal decomposition and differential price were evaluated as antioxidants by mixing 1% of both the prepared polymer with the stock 40, 60 base oil supplied by the Central Oil Company.

The compounds prepared were highly stable against oxidation It has been found that the prepared compounds have good specifications to improve viscosity and reduce the degree of spills as well as possessing an anti-oxidant property as it is thermally stable and does not decompose at high temperatures ranging from (246-600 m) and also ensure the work of the preparation of derivatives above the base as refiners of lubricating oils and has been tested to improve the degree of spills and viscosity Where the magnesium salt was present with the palmitic acid and the magnesium hydroxide in equal proportions. The oil mixture was shown at 1% of the above-ground detergent of the lipid-soluble acid. It was better than the oil with the standard material. P added increases with the increase of the concentration of detergent (1-3%).
