Abstract

In this work was taken the fruit of the Iraqi chili pepper and extract the capsaicin found in the fruit of chili using simple distillation where the ratio of the extracted substance was about 89% after the reaction was the substance of the capsaicin extracted with succinic anhydride and then the process of cationic polymerization on the compound using dilute sulfuric acid.

The product  was added to the toothpaste produced by the general company for vegetable oil industry to improve some of its therapeutic .the resulting substance has low toxicity and is not harmful to the body because its composed of natural materials’ the cleaning and sterilization compared to ordinary paste improved characterization by thermal stability and study of therapeutic action and use of some the teeth on which some calcification has been removed these calcinations were finally removed for these teeth. Polymer spectroscopy using IR spectra and NMR spectroscopy using thermal analysis and differential heat dissipation Gas chromatography was used to characterization the extracted compound.
