Abstract

A total of 668 ovaries were collected from Baghdad Al-Shella slaughter house to study the maturation of sheep oocyte, in vitro fertilization and follow up cell division of embryos to two and four cells. This  experiment of oocytes were aspirated from mature follicles included (oocyte with cumulus cells and partial surrounded by cumulus cells) which were incubated in CO2 incubator  for the purpose of oocyte maturation and  in vitro fertilization, therefore the investigation of oocyte at the molecular level is very important for detection of the oocyte quality. Subsequently by there is genomic DNA extraction by (Bioneer Kit), to investigate the COX1 gene on the agarose gel electrophoresis.Subsequently by register sequences nucleotide gene cytochrome oxidase (COX1) with size 700 bp sheep Awassi Iraqi isolated from mature oocyte after fertilization and different stage of division two and four cells in the Universal location of the gene bank NCBI after several repeated with the National Center for biotechnology information / USA, after several months to fill the data and answer questions specialists have been recorded, according to table (4). The donor: National Center for biotechnology information / USA / According to the website America: http://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/seq/BlastGen.cgi?taxid=9606.
