Radio of Baghdad University hosts the website to talk about the criteria of the Webometrics adopted in a new global ranking of the University <\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

  “Echo of the University of Baghdad,” which is broadcasted across the Radio of College of Mass Media at the University of Baghdad,has hosted the director of the website at the university to talk about the criteria the global Webometrics adopted and the new scientific achievement of the university in the developed rankings of this year . During the interview the new launch of the website , which is identified since 2010 after it was neglected and suffering from a lack of support, prompting a team in charge to work to revive the electronic interface of the mother of Iraqi universities , after the efforts has been exerted and it was able to record in a short time to achieve a breakthrough , to be in five languages and enters the competitive global websites across global Webometrics ranking , as well as its Arabic advanced ranking issued by the Arab and Iraqi universities sites. On the other hand, Mr. Bassim Hamid has touched on how to utilize the website to be in the service of society, the guest has confirmed to publish the researches, studies , theses and refereed scientific journals , which were able to provide free scientific service in marketing scientific researches as well as providing Virtual Library which is supported by the Directorate of research and Development in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the presidency of the university that has achieved great scientific interest to researchers after providing hundreds of sources and modern books. “Echo of Baghdad University” program has been concluded with the director of the website to review some of the colleges of the university, namely, (Engineering Khwarizmi, Medicine-Al-Kindi and Science), which have got advanced ranks in the world rankings for the first time, to surpass a number of Iraqi universities and based on the level of the Arab and international universities , as well as talking about evaluating the most effective formations and its commitment to the development of their websites, and maintain the level of the world rankings which the website of the University of Baghdad has achieved.<\/p>\n

  Mr.Bassim has revealed at the conclusion of his speech that the president of Baghdad University professor Dr. Alaa’ AbdulHussein has instructed to form a special committee made up of seconded and evaluator members from the department of public relations and the media, to evaluate the work of the websites of the formations of the University in accordance with the criteria established by the website of the University and the president of the university will work on its ratification. This is the first ranking against the rest of the Iraqi universities and most of the Arab universities and universities of the Middle East, to gain the eleventh rank against the Arab universities, where the university has got its new classified rank of “1350” which is superior so many times on other Iraqi universities, some of the colleges of the university including the College Khwarizmi Engineering has got the first rank and the college of Science the second rank , while the college of Al-Kindi Medicine the third rank , to surpass a number of Iraqi universities, while the University of Technology has ranked secondly in Iraqi sequence of “4322” and a difference of almost three thousand Universities. The “echo of Baghdad University” program is broadcasted on Sundays and Wednesdays of every week at 12 p.m., which is produced by the Department of Public Relations and Media at the University, prepared and submitted by Zaid Salim and Dr. Mouaid AbdulJabbar, the general supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Aal, and broadcasted through the wave (105,7 FM).<\/p>\n
