Dean of Genetic Engineering at Baghdad University Gets New Patent for Extracting “DNA” <\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

  Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Faisal, dean of genetic engineering and bio-technology Institute at Baghdad University has got a patent of producing local and low cost apparatus to extract DNA from different bio models.<\/p>\n

  The importance of this patent comes from comparing local apparatus with the apparatus that are produced by global US Bromeka company, as the extracting results showed that the extracting DNA by using local apparatus is not less concentrated and pure than the comparing apparatus of Bromeka- and a time of extracting and the steps are lower than that extract using the apparatus produced by the company of Bromeka.<\/p>\n

  It is noted that until 1970 the researches conducted on DNA was one of the most difficult things that was facing the geneticists and chemists, as most of the researches were conducted indirectly on RNA or protein <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
