University of Baghdad Gets a New Scientific Achievement to be the first in Iraq and Ninetieth in the Arab World in the US.NEWS world Classification <\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

  University of Baghdad has got a new great scientific achievement in scoring another global ranking of the US .NEWS of the academic year 2014-2015 and for the first time in its academic career which ranging to more than fifty seven years .This achievement is recorded for university of Baghdad to be the best (90) Arab universities in the assessment of performance of the universities in the field of the academic researches.<\/p>\n

  This new achievement is based on a single measure which is a publication within a database (SCOPUS) exclusively, as well as the fact that the University of Baghdad is the first out of the Iraqi universities that received an advanced rating, as its sequence was (66) of (19.4) degree , while the sequence of University of Mosul was (90) of (0.8) degree , the sequence of the University of Basra was (91) (0,0 ) degree This achievement is a landmark in the process of higher education in the new Iraq, as this category has included the best universities in the field of scientific research and published researches within the databases (SCOPUS) and publisher (ELSEVIER). The president of the university has congratulated the students ,the staff and the faculty members of entering this new world ranking for the first time, emphasizing the attempt of Baghdad University to achieve higher advanced ranks in the next world rankings, especially after the great efforts of teachers , staffs and students and their perseverance It is worth mentioning that the University of Baghdad has recently been chosen to be the best Iraqi University, and the best 50 Arab universities classified according to the world “QS” organization of 2014\/2015.<\/p>\n

  As the annual report of the organization included the obtaining of Baghdad University the first place among the Iraqi universities, and the sequence of 26, followed by the University of Mosul (36) , the University of Babylon ( 37) and the University of Mesopotamia ( 45).<\/p>\n

  The report, which was recently announced in Taiwan Conference APPLE 2014, explained the assessment of the performance of universities according to the methodology , accredited quality standards in classification management. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
