{"id":650,"date":"2014-04-13T11:46:53","date_gmt":"2014-04-13T08:46:53","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2014-04-13T11:46:53","modified_gmt":"2014-04-13T08:46:53","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=650","title":{"rendered":"Ibn al-Haytham college discusses the latest technological developments of the renewable energy"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Courier New;\"><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\"><strong>Ibn al-Haytham college discusses the latest technological developments of the renewable energy<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p> The department of chemistry at the college of education for pure sciences, Ibn al-Haytham at the university of Baghdad hold a symposium entitled ( renewable energy resources ) as part of its cultural season to keep pace with the rapid scientific developments of the international developed universities. The instructor, Saad Ali Ahmed gave a lecture in which he identified the renewable energy as that is generated from natural non- conventional resources that are inexhaustible and need to be converted from natural energy to another one that is easy to use via modern technologies. The researcher dealt with the characteristics of the renewable energy available inmost countries and its advantages and he considered them as local sources that are not moving and consistent with the reality of the development of remote and rural areas and their needs since they are clean, do not pollute the environment, maintain public health, being economical in many applications, bringing a big return, as well as its appropriate and regular prices. The lecturer stated that the benefits of renewable energy such as not causing any noise, not leaving any harmful remnants that cause pollution of the environment, achieving an environmental, social, industrial and agricultural development for the whole country, without using complex technologies that can be manufactured locally in developing countries.
