University Psychological Counseling Forum, with the participation of officials from counseling units across the university&#8217;s various constituent bodies, alongside a select group of academics and specialists in psychological and educational counseling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The forum aims to unify perspectives and develop the working mechanisms of counseling units, thereby contributing to strengthening psychological and educational support for students and building a more effective counseling system responsive to the needs of the university environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In remarks delivered during the forum, the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Zughaibi, emphasized the importance of psychological counseling in building a safe and supportive university environment that enables students to achieve success and excellence, affirming that students&#8217; psychological wellbeing is a fundamental element of their capacity to learn, contribute, and take part in shaping the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Director of the Center for Educational and Psychological Research, Dr. Fadhil Shaker Al-Saadi, pointed to the pivotal role the center plays in achieving integration between scientific research and field counseling practice, thereby contributing to strengthening the counseling system and enhancing its performance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The forum&#8217;s activities also included a segment dedicated to showcasing positive initiatives and successful experiences implemented by a number of the university&#8217;s constituent bodies, along with a discussion of the potential to benefit from and apply them in other bodies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This activity supports several Sustainable Development Goals, namely Goal Three (ensuring healthy lives and promoting wellbeing for all at all ages), Goal Four (quality education), as well as Goal Seventeen (partnerships for achieving the goals).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column
